The work I do for commission in public space involving the community is different to what I refer to as my personal sculpture.  My public art relates to brief, site location, historic research and community involvement. I hope to create work that communities can be involved in whether by directly contributing to it's development or in terms of experiencing the end result installed on site. With these works I've used my combined skills of artist and spatial designer with experience of workshops with different ages of community groups often working in collaboration with poets.  With all of these works there is an emphasis on people, 'holding' and somewhat memoralising the fleeting experiences and words shared in everyday moments.
